Bringing Joy to Kids at Christmas
QAC Christmas Angels is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting local youth by ensuring every child has access to appropriate winter clothing, personal hygiene items, and meaningful gifts during the holidays. In 2025, Christmas Angels supported more than 1,600 children living in Queen Anne’s County.
Our Mission in Queen Anne’s County
Children registered in the Queen Anne’s County public school system and eligible for the free lunch program are invited to participate in Christmas Angels. Guardians of participating students submit information including clothing and shoe sizes, favorite colors, and a holiday wish list. QAC Christmas Angels delivers comprehensive gift packages tailored to each child including coats, hats, gloves, shoes, socks, undergarments, pants, shirts, blankets, bedding as needed, and toiletries. Each child also receives toys or other requested items from their wish list. For instance, a child requested a necklace to hold her father's ashes; Christmas Angels collaborated with a local funeral home to fulfill this unique request. Other children have requested, and Christmas Angels delivers, workout benches, bikes, art supplies, Legos, dolls and books, among many other gifts.
The success of QAC Christmas Angels is dependent on strong community engagement and financial support. Imagine a winter with no coat, gym class with no sneakers, a morning with no toothpaste or no gifts on Christmas. You can be part of the solution.
